Is 'Make an MDE file' buggy or something??

Hi all

I followed this process to make a very simple database into a FE and BE using Access 2003:

Backup db
Use tools>database utils>splitter
Open original file (not the BE)
Check startup options
Use tools>database utils>make mde file

Process runs smoothly, but when I fire up the db FE, one particular form that links to the now shifted tables brings up an 'repair and reopen' error. Repair doesn't fix the issue.

I've inherited this db, but given some of the other functions work ok do you think its a build MDE issue or something badly designed in the db itself?

Cheers
Gareith

I have run into many an instance where 1 form in particular goes belly up for no reason... Sucks I know but try to rebuild the form and see if that corrects your problem.

I understand I just completed a complete rebuild of one of my db's due to a MS Access issue and that is never fun. Good luck let us know if there is anything else we can do.
