How to make log-in and registration form in ms access?

lh0ve142005
I'm a beginner when it comes to ms access and visual basic. Can you help me here?
In ms access, I went to forms, then design view. I used combo box for my USERNAME and used a textbox for my PASSWORD, Command buttons were cmdLogin and cmdRegister. I'm finished with username, my next problem is, how can I verify the user's password?
I need to verify it using a table or query...Thanks a lot...
