Duplicate People in Database

I have a database that someone had entered48 people twice. This database is hooked to multiple databases, and I need to fine if the second ID was used so I can change it to the ID it is supposed to be. I know I can not just delete the record, because there is other information relying on these. Is there an easy way to find these? I probably have 50 databases that rely on this table.

It can easily be done via VBA code, but I'm just going to sit back and wait for a little. Someone will probably come up with a better method, if not I'll post the code.

Do you have relationships for all of these db's that are interconnecting? If so check that and referential integrity if that is setup then you will get a prompt before you accidently delete the records from a sub table. That said...
Had to think about this one for a sec. I think what I would do is create a list (if you don't have one) of all the db's that interconnect or may interconnect with that table. I keep this stored in a central db that I use for tracking items usage etc. I am reffering to the exact location db name etc.

Then using a loop you can zip through each db and run a loop through the table collection check each table for the matching field (if they are named the same) in all databases or else loop through each field and search.

I hope this helps.
