fields on my form, of specific table i cant write in them, help please!

14
Hi, im doing a internship with the school and they assigned me couple of projects to do. I created all the tables that i need, with all the relationships etc. Then i created a form with all the tables that is seperated in different pages on the form. First page was fine with me able to insert the data that i wanted, then i clicked on the next button and it went to the next page so i was happy with that, but when i went on to the third page, i have a field thats drop down with 3 different labs in there that you can choose from, but its not allowing me to choose any of them when i click to select one. This page is basically this one table thats giving me problems. Also all my other field are the same way when i try lets say insert a number, it doesnt let me type anything in this page. What can be causing this, did i change anything in this particular table?

any help would be appreciated.

You sure it's a table? It sounds like your recordsource for this page in question may be an non updateable query.

Best to use for every table a different form.
When you need them "combined", then use a new (unbound) form with a tab control and place every form on a separate tab.
Now the forms should always work as expected.

nico has a point, you were not clear on how you setup your pages but I would definitely use a tab control verses what I think you are using.
