Changing the value in 1 field when a date is entered in another...

P: 2
I'm new to databases and currently have been given a project to create one. I have Access 2003 and it's a database that tracks the status of projects. So, my dilemma is that I want to automate Access to change the status of the project to "Completed" when I enter a date in the field as to when the project was closed. Can this be done? If so, how?

Thanks :)

In the After Update Event of the dateClosed field.
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Private Sub dateClosed_AfterUpdate()
  2.
  3.    If Not IsNull(Me!dateClosed) Then
  4.       Me!status = "Completed"
  5.    End If
  6.
  7. End Sub
  8.
