Automatic Number Increments In Microsoft Access 2002 Forms

P: 2
I am trying to automatically increment a number in a Microsoft Access 2002 Form called Frm Hazpot Entry Form. I have created a table called Next Hazpot Number in which there is one field to hold the last number used, I have a Form called Frm Next Hazpot Number which displays this information. I believe I have to have this form open in order to generate the number. This is as far as I have got - can anyone help.

You can use:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. DMax("[Field Name]", "[Table Name]") + 1
to get the next number, there is no need for an extra table.
