d lookup

i am working on a video database...

i have a table called Video and in that a field which is availability, showing if the video is available or not...

now what i am trying to do is from the rentals form when a member chooses to rent a particular video then if its not available then i want a msg displayed saying "video not available"....

so i need some code which will check the field availability in video table to see if video is there or not..

availability format in viedo table is yes/no

can someone plz help....
