Opening Forms

P: 1
I am currently playing with a database which has a number of forms, I have menu that opens first. I then select a form that I want to open. My issue is this; If I leave the menu open and then open another form all is well until I close the second form. It closes but it also changes the menu form properties to include the scroll bars. If I close the menu form and then open the second form I get a stuttering effect (flickering). I am sure that there is a right way to do both, I have check the various threads but can't seem to find one that fits my problems.

thanks for the time

Hi Steve,

I usually close the menu on opening another form and then in that forms on close event I reopen the menu. That way you shouldn't have any problems.
