running sum issue

MS ACCESS 2003
I'm using a running sum on a report to total points scores.
But what i want to do is run to say 325 points and then for the sum to start agiain, also carrying any extra points when its reached 325.

Thanks

The only thing I can thing of is a complicated IIF statement.

Something like ...
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. =IIf(Sum([FieldName])<=325,Sum([FieldName]),IIf(Sum([FieldName])<= 650,Sum([FieldName])-325,Sum([FieldName]))
