backing up database...

P: n/a
RAB
I have website files along with an access database parked on the host
server of Godaddy.com. The information in the database is something I
do not want to lose. What would be a good back up plan? (ie should I
download a copy of the database daily onto my home computer)? Or is
there a better way (something I could do on my host's server)?

Thanks in advance,

Every host I've been with does back-ups of their own (at least
weekly). If they are not providing this, then likely the easiest
method is downloading, or using FTP to transfer a copy. Or if the
server supports it, take a look at setting up a cron job to this
automatically.
