How to run MsAccess procedures in background while they are scheduled

P: 1
I need help to schedule a MsAccess procedure I want the procedure to run in backgrund and not the MsAccess file to be open during the time when the procedure runs. The procedure in MsAccess picks data from an oracle database and then create excelfiles. It works good while using the scheduler in MsAccess, but when I do that the MsAccess opens first and I dont want that to happen. I would like to have a bat-file(procedure.bat) scheduled to run every day at 6 am for instance. It works fine if I just run the bat-file from dosprompt for instance but how can I schedule so the file runs daily without opening during MsAccess during the time when the bat-fils runs?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Roland

Access can't run procedures unless it is open.
