comp.databases.ms-access: 2002 file format problem

Hi Experts,

Could you please help me on how to get access 2002 file format exactly
while doing conversion from Access 97 file format by
DBEngine.CompactDatabase() function?

Code:

Private Sub Command1_Click()
DBEngine.CompactDatabase "c:\ss97.mdb", "c:\ss2002.mdb",
dbLangGeneral, dbVersion40, dbLangGeneral
End Sub

This is my conversion code. What's my problem means?
The database has created succesfully but not an exact file format
(2002) of access . By default its generating access 2000 file format
mdb file.

Constants for file format:
dbVersion10 for Engine version 1.0 file format while compacting.
dbVersion11 for Engine version 1.1 file format...
dbVersion20 for Engine version 2.0 file format...
dbVersion30 for Engine version 3.0 file format (compatible with
version 3.5)...
dbVersion40 for Engine version 4.0 file format...

Is there any other constant for geting access 2002 file format
exactly?

Advance Thanks!

Regards,
-Karthik.

Hi Tombsy,

I used ur ConvertAccessProject method. This is working fine but it
requires "Microsoft Access 10.0 Object Library" reference in VB 6.0.
If office XP is not installed i mean access is not installed then the
vb 6.0 shows error like "ActiveX object cann't be created".

Without access how can we use this method to convert? or any dll
reference is needed?

Please help me.............................

Any help would be appriciated....

Thanks in Advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regards,
-Karthik.
