Combo Boxes - Help!

Dear All,

I have the following Tables:

Dealer:
DealerID - AutoNumber
DealerName - Text

Business:
Business ID - AutoNumber
BusinessName - Text
DealerBusiness - Number

I have a Master Table where I would like to record my information with many different fields inside it including Dealer and Business.

I have created a Form with two combo Boxes.

What I would like to do is select a Dealer which ONLY gives the Businesses relating to that.

I have linked the business Combo Box to the Dealer Combo Box using the Row Source which selects the Business fields and where Dealerid = combobox dealer.

On the Dealer Combo Box I have put "Me.cboBusiness.requery" in after update

This works fine on ONE record.

After creating 10 different records there is an issue.

When I select one dealer and Business it's shows the data fine. If i create a new record and select a different dealer and Business and go back to the previous record, the Dealer is shown fine, but the Business disappears!

The data in the table is recording fine.
The problem is with shows the data in the form. I ASSUME the reason is because of the requery as it seems to do it for every record each time a new Dealer is selected or changed.

Any Ideas anybody??

Why would you want the Dealer ID in the Master table if you already have the Business ID? Not a very important point but goes to normalisation (Normalisation and Table structures) issues.
Anyway, I'm not very clear on exactly what you're after here. This can, unfortunately, be very important from the perspective of someone who can't see you database. But, it sounds like you may be helped by this tutorial (Example Filtering on a Form.).
If not, then come back and perhaps clarify a little, exactly what is not working for you.
