Change Selected Record on Continuous subForm

P: 9
I have a subform which is bound to the contents of the Asset table. at the end of each row i have also added an 'edit' button and a 'Delete' button.

All textbox controls have been locked by default to ensure that the user dosent acidently change the data in the table.

What i would like to do is when the user clicks on the 'edit' button for that record it unlocks all the controls (and perhaps changes the background colour)

I have got the records to delete with the del button using Me!Recordset.Delete however not sure of the best way to change the control boxes Locked setting.
Any Ideas?
Many Thanks

You can set each control to unlock or lock using the code:
[Control Name].Locked = True/False
