Continuous Form Update (Access 2000)

Hey everyone:
Probably an easy question but here it goes. I have a continous form
where you update a quantity order field. When you enter the quantity
ordered on a line and tab down to the next line it saves the record.
Pretty Basic.

When you enter the last quantity -- if you do not tab down then try to
exit the form you get the message "This record has been changed by
another user since you started etc etc blah blah blah. I am assuming
that since the user didn't tab down the "after update event" that I
am using to update my records didn't launch.

Is there a way, if the user enters a quantity but doesn't tab of the
field I can still save the record the record and avoid this annoying
message.
Thanks

If you're sure you want to save the input every time, you can use the
textbox's On Lost Focus Event:

DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord

Then after the user leaves the textbox to close the window, the record will
save. You can add error traps prior to saving and prevent the window from
closing if the input is unacceptable.
