Access very slow

I split my database into back end and front end, put the back end on
the server, and the front end installed in each PC. How ever, my user
said it is way slower than it was before the splitting. I research
this user group and did what MVPs suggested to have my main form tied
up with a table to keep a consistent connect with the backend table,
but it doesn't seem to help. What else can I do?

Thanks in advance!

Elaine, work through the list by Tony Toews at:
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/performancefaq.htm

Handle each of those items in turn: subdatasheets, Name AutoCorrect, and so
on.

Hi Elaine,
Trying to compact your back end (your data), it will help.
