Quick syntax question

What's the correct syntax to reference a control that isn't in the local form?

I'm trying to enable a disabled control in a subform, from an "onChange" event occuring from the parent form.

Still learning. Thanks guys

Try this ...

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Forms![MainFormName]![SubformObjectName].Form![ControlName].Enabled = True

Well that worked of course - Thanks again.

You know, I tried exactly that, but I left out the Form! part. I guess that's the key when referring to a foreign object?

Only when it's a subform.
