Task Manager 2007 crashes Word/Excel 2003 reports

In the last 1-3 weeks, we have had numerous users of Task Manager 2007
(www.orbisoft.com) complain that they can no longer export certain
reports (Task Manager 2007 uses a Sagekey.com Access 97 runtime) to
Excel 2003 or Word 2003 format.

They say they get an error message then both Task Manager 2007 and
Office 2003 shut down.

Any ideas why this is happening?

It only occurs on a particular report (Reports>>, Work..., in Task
Manager 2007) and not others. The report:

- Has 5 Sub-Reports
- Has about 700 controls.
- Is therefore "Complex"?

Task Manager 2007 is free to download at www.orbisoft.com.

It may be because of a recent Office Update.

Any ideas?

You're charging 344.95 USD per license for an Access97 application that
runs reports in the default wizard format?
And its creator/spokesperson doesn't know how to debug it, and doesn't
gather and report the error message information?

My first idea is that the thing died of shame.
My second is remorse.
My third is stupidity.
My fourth is all of the above.

Reading crap like this over my morning coffee makes me barf!

My 1st thought is the report has an unhandled VBA error, or an error in a
macro, causing Access Runtime to crash. Run the report using Access to see
if their is an error.

LOL, good one Lyle. I love to read your posts every morning.

Just today I was working on an app that should have died of shame a
year ago!
