P: 1
Hi ,

I am new to ACCESS.please help me out.

I am designing a database.I have 3 tables, and have 3 forms based to collect data.

1. Individual ( fields are Name, Email, Status)

Status is a drop down list having values P,PE,E

2. Pastors ( Pas_Name ,Email id)

3. Pastoral care( Name [drop down list from Individual table] , Pas_name[drop down list from pastors table] )

What i want to do is to auto populate the NAME filed in pastoral care form, when status in individual is selected as P, and leave the Pas_name to be blank so that, i can assign a pastor to each name).

Hope i made it clear.Pleae help me out
Thanks

I wouldn't advise trying to do this as it will cause a lot of data integrity problems.

However, you can restrict the Pastoral Care Name dropdown list to only show individuals with status P.
