alert - windows scheduler

Sue
Is there a way to set up an alert in Microsoft Access so that when the
computer is turned on or user logs on, an alert message is displayed
if data in a table meets a certain condition, example deadline=today?
Can this be done through windows scheduler? Thank you very much!

Yes, create a shortcut that starts access using the /x parameter that allows you to
specify a macro to run. Then put that shortcut into the user's Startup folder.

With the /x option you can specify a macro to run - run code to provide the user with a
"tickler" list.
