Creating Invoices with a predefined price list

Hello guys
I have been working on a project now for a while and almost feel like I'm about to jump into shark infested waters with lead tied to my body. I need to create a database for a dental office that will store demographic information and finally produce an invoice. There are already some predefined procedure codes, procedure names and prices. I would like the user when creating a bill for the patient to only enter the procedure codes and then have the corresponding procedure and price appear automatically in the invoice, then they would enter the quantity and the total cost will be calculated. Does anyone know if this is at all possible?

It certainly sounds possible. Can you describe what's in the table in more detail? i.e. What fields and kind of data it holds. Also, what do you want to appear in your invoice, i.e. calculated fields and such?

It may help to post your table information (MetaData) in this format. It makes it much easier for our experts to understand what they're working with.
You can reply to my post and get the original code I use to handle the display and just amend it for your own situation.
