I have to set an accessment task for my students using MS Access DBMS. Can any one advise me how to calculate the BMI i.e: (weight/height(squared)=BMI).

My database will consists of a [weight] and [height] field.

Waiting in anticipation.

This should really be in the Access forum. I will move it later. In the meantime.

If in a control on a form with the two fields available

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. =[weight]/([height]*[height])
If in a query

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. SELECT [weight]/([height]*[height]) As BMI
  2. FROM TableName;
