Access attachemnt to Outlook email

A friend is thrying to send me an Access database attached to an email. I am
using Outlook but when the email arrives the attachemnt is missing. Any
suggestions, please? When changed to Excel it arrives OK.

Have your friend zip the Access db first. This article explains why

I use a product called "Outlook Attachment Options" that allows you to set
what files it will let come thru.
Use this link to give it a try

Note that YAHOO and GMAIL now restrict you from attaching executable
files. One of them - forget which - even checks inside zip files.

One thing you can do is to change the file extension and then have the
recipient change it back.

Another approach is to send the file via a file sending service, such as
YouSendIt.com which has a FREE service.
