Access 2000 Compact and Repair Failing

Hello all,

I have an Access 2K .mdb file that has grown to capacity (2GB+). I'm attempting a "compact and repair", but I keep getting an invalid argument about halfway through.
I can see a copy of the .mdb file is made but it looks like it stops there.
The error is: Invalid Argument. (Error 3001)

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm moving this question to the Access forum as they will have the answer.

Simple answer though is that 2GB is the limit of the size of an Access database in MS 2000. The easiest solution is to import all of the objects into a new database.

The Access experts may be able to offer futher assistance.
