Report Issues

bwesenberg
Good Morning,
I am using Access XP. I have a report that is based on a query. They enter a date for criteria. It is just a single date. This report is run from a switchboard.
We ran the report for 1/29/07 and it works fine. The report comes out perfect.
We try to run the report for 1/30/07 and we get an error "There was an error executing the command.
I tried to run just the query without the report and it runs just fine. The data appears.
I then tried to run the report from the database window without using the switchboard and I get this error "This expression is typed incorrectly, or it is too complex to be evaluated. For example, a numeric expression may contain too many complicated elements. Try simplifying the expression by assigning parts of the expression to variables."
Then we tried to run the report for many other single days and it works just fine.

The only date we have an issue with is 1/30/07.
Why would that be?
Any help would be great. I just don't understand why this date.

I finally found it. It was a data entry error.

Thanks for looking anyway.

That was a quick resolution :)
Sometimes, just the discipline of putting the question together can trigger something that helps to find the answer.

Unfortunately, in this case we would have been in the dark a little without the SQL of the record source of the report itself.
It was a well worded question other than that mind you ;) A pleasant break from deciphering some of the questions
