Trouble shooting Auto FE Updater

I've been running Tony's Auto FE Updater with great success but I've
run into a problem. I have a computer that is now shared by two
people who use their own log in. On the log in I originally set up
the database with the app runs fine. When I log in as the second user
I receive the error "Automation Object already exists". It was
suggested in an eariler post on this that I check the DLL's to make
sure they where correct. After checking it appears they are. The
only way I can get around this is to set the shortcut for the second
user directly to the FE on the hard disk. This however bypasses the
updater and if the original user doesn't use the database then the FE
on the hard disk doesn't get updated. Just wondering if anyone's run
into this or has any clues where else to look? It would seem the
Updater is checking for some object when it starts but I haven't a
clue.

Shot in the dark, but have you made sure the AFEU shortcut is in all
users as opposed to a separate one for each user?

Thanks for the response Tim. I checked that possibility out but it
appears that when intially run the FE Updater puts the shortcut in all
users.
