problem with autonumber fields

hi every body,
Im Sherry, 25 years old from east. i'm beginner to microsoft access,i've designed a form in access that shows and get's the information about people. i have designed a query and selected all data needed to shown in the fileds of the form.better to say , i have multiple tables related to each other by the same ID fields.when i'm inserting a new record into the form the autonumber ID fields in one table is generated in the original table and also is written in the related field's table. but this process happned only for one pair of my tables and for the rest the autogenerated Id does not written in the related table.
what should i do?
anyone would help me?

To have any idea of what the problem may be we would need to understand the table structure (What they contain and how they are linked) and also we'd need to know the SQL of the Record Source of your form.
If you can provide this information we can try to help.

hi,
thank u so much, i have found the solution of my problem : "the look up wizard" . with this data type i can guide a field to be populated with a the exact values of another table field so that two tables will be linked together.
