Property is read only. You have to set it in design view. There is a
property for Min Max Button

Hi,

You can only change the property in design mode. It’s tricky, but can be done.
You have to create an event from another form or module.
And if you use a command button to open this form, put this into the OnClick
Event.

‘open the form as hidden
DoCmd.OpenForm "Form1", acDesign, , , acFormEdit, acHidden
‘set the form’s properties
Forms!Form1.MinMaxButtons = 1
‘save the form
DoCmd.Close acForm, "Form1", acSaveYes
‘open/run the form as normal
DoCmd.OpenForm "Form1", acNormal

Assume “Form1” is your form.

I appreciate that, but if the property is read only, you can't set it using
VBA. I am using Access 2000. It could be read/write in later versions of
Access, but I doubt it.

@news.qwest.net:
Private Sub Form_Load()

this code error.
i want to not manual seting but auto setting .....
Private Sub GetOldCode()
Go to the D Drive ... Unzip the Archives and Search for the Code
End Sub

I want to not auto setting but manual setting, when there's some reason.
