Tables not visible in detail view

OM
When I open my application, I can't view the tables, queries, forms etc in
"Detail" mode. The other modes ("List", "Small Icons", "Large Icons") are
fine, but this means that I can't see the "Properties" column for the
various items.

Any ideas on why this is happening, and what I can do about it ?

Thanks in advance people.

Not to be patronizing, but make sure that you haven't scrolled horizontally
beyond the details columns and that the detail columns are not collapsed to
0 width.
