Switchboard form

Hey all,

Thi question may be simple to most people on this group, but I'm a
newbie and can't figure this out. I have created a switchboard form and
I've been able to display it on startup of Access. However, I can't get
it to start up Maximized. I tried to look through the Form's
properties, yet no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Haas:

In the On Open event of the Form (found in the properties of the form
on the Event tab) put your cursor in the box and click the [...] button
to the right of the On Open box. Choose Code Builder. It will take
you to the Class Module for your form and pop your cursor right where
you need it.

Put this line in:
DoCmd.Maximize

Then click on Debug, then Compile Loaded Modules. Close the Class
Module, save your form and then reopen it. It should open up
maximized.

HTH,
Jana

There is no maximize property.
You have to code the Switchboard form's Open event.
Here's how.

Display the switchboard's property sheet.
Click on the Event tab.
On the Open event line, write:
[Event Procedure]
Then click on the little button with the 3 dots that appears on that
line.
When the code window opens, the cursor will be flashing between 2
already existing lines of code.
Between those 2 lines, write:

DoCmd.Maximize

Close the code window.
Open the Switchboard.
