Access forms fields not updating with table

Hi, I am new to access, so pardon my question. After I created my form, I needed to make changes to my table fields. After doing so, the form does not update and show this field as it is currently. Is there something I do to the form or table so that whenever i change a field in the table the form also reflects this change.

Hi and welcome

Try the 'Refresh' statement for the form.

If you are updating from the form, the values are saved when you move off the current record, so there should be no need to refresh. However, if you are updating records in code, using 'Refresh' or 'Requery' might help.

If you mean changing a field name then the answer is no. Also some changes to datatype and format will not automatically be updated. However, if you change the value in a record and the form is bound to that table then the requery option will work.
