Tab Question

I have a form with tab control. On each page of the tab is an instance of
the same subform which I want to have different data sources. How do I code
this? I've tried setting the "RecordSource" property in the enter and click
events to no avail.

Thanks.

Hi Keith,

Try coding the 'enter' event of the subformcontrols like:
Private Sub subFrmTab1_Enter()
Me!subFrmTab1.Form.RecordSource = "qryTab1"
End Sub

But you 'might' be better of still with duplicate subforms. Depends on what you need I guess.

If you just want different filtering of the same base data then use a different
MasterLink property setting for each instance of the subreport. If it's totally
different base data, then using a common subform is probably not a good idea.

Cheers Arno. Just another quick one ... how do I set a sub-form's Allow
Edits property to False if the sub's on a tab control? I've tried
Me.sfrmName.AllowEdits but that gives me an error.

Thanks.

Keith.
PS did you get my recent e-mail?

You could try Me!sfrmName.Form.AllowEdits=False

Last week to the above address but with NO and SPAM removed. It was nothing
important, just a social call :-)
