OpenApp

I need to know the command line to open MS Excel, Word, etc.

If the database is shared, I assume the apps must be stored in the same location on their computers.

Also, Access provides the icons for Excel and Word, but not Outlook, PowerPoint or Publisher. Where can I find these icons on my computer?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hard to grasp your Q, but to find the icons you'll be best off to download an icon editor from the web and use that to extract the icons you want from the MSAccess.exe, etc.

They would be stored wherever Office was installed into on each individual PC. If they follow a standard build then they would be in the same place but Office apps tend not to be so easy to find as the shortcuts created automatically, typically don't include the path to the executable (That's where I usually look first).
As Nico says, the icon is generally contained within the executable.
