Looking up information

Ok... I'm stumped here. I am trying to do something that I am not sure
I can do. I have a several tables of data. I need a form that I can
access this stuff easily, no switching back and forth between screens
or windows. I can only have one field that shows the record selected. I
need to be able to have multiple combo boxes, one from each table.. and
have them all share one field for displaying the chosen record.

Can anyone tell me if this can be done or not? If it can... how?

Thanks
Victoria

Only if you explain better. Remember, we have never seen your db

If you want one form to display data from several tables, that can be
done by changing the RecordSource. Or by having a subform and changing
the SourceObject of the subform control.

"I can only have one field that shows the record selected": that
confuses me. What do you mean? Typically a record has several fields.
