Traverse Form in alphabetical order

P: n/a
I have built an MS access with student information, such as SSN, Local
address, city, state, grade, etc. The SSN is the primary key for the
student table - there is a second table but that isn't really
important. I have some students in my database, and when I click my
'next student' command button, I'd like for the form to traverse my
student database in alphabetical order according to the LastNM field.
However, for some reason the form is traversing in order of ascending
SSNs. How can I change the sorting criteria?

Base your form on a query of the table rather than the table directly. You
can specify which column to sort on in the query.
