Recordset is emptied after retreival

P: n/a
I have to transfer various Access 95 databases to a MySQL database with
the help of Visual Basic 6.
This works until I have to transfer the content of a memo field to a
string.
>From a tabel opname I have to transfer the records.
I use an ADODB connection that is made as follows:

CString = "Provider=MSDASQL.1;Persist Security Info=False;"
CString = CString & "Extended Properties=;DSN=MS Access Database;"
CString = CString & "DBQ=" & DatabaseNaam & ";"
CString = CString & "DefaultDir=" & DefaultDir & ";"
CString = CString & "DriverId=281;FIL=MS
Access;MaxBufferSize=2048;PageTimeout=25;UID=admin ;"
CString = CString & "Initial Catalog=" & InitialCatalog

Set docMDB = New ADODB.Connection
docMDB.ConnectionString = CString
docMDB.ConnectionTimeout = 100
docMDB.Mode = adModeReadWrite
docMDB.Open

With that connection I create a recordset, but when I want to loop
through the recordset, it sponaeaously had the value Null, which had
earlier a content.

SQL = "SELECT * FROM opname"
Set rs2 = docMDB.Execute(SQL)
strOpmOpname = CStr(rs2("opm"))

rs2("opm") is filled and after a few seconds becomes Null.

Who can help me with this problem?
