Value from Previous Record

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with the syntax below:

=IIf(Forms![frmTable1(All)]!RowID<"2","13044",DLookUp("[Instid]","Table1(All)","[InstID]=Forms![frmTable1(All)]![InstID]-1"))

where the textbox name = InstID, RowID = autonumber, the form name =
frmTable1(All) and the control source is the syntax above. From the
testing I've done the problem seems to be in the dLookUp part of the
expression.

Thanks,

Rick
