Total of calculated field in subform

Rog
Hi,

I'm trying to calculate the food allowance for the household employees
in the diplomatic mission where I work.

For each employee/month I have a subform with a maximum of 3 records
for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. For each type of meal, the subform
has radio buttons for days D1 to D31 (hiding D29 to D31 where
appropriate), NumberOfMeals (=-[D1]+[D2]+[D3]...+[D31]), MealValue, and
Total (=[NumberOfMeals]*[MealValue]). So far so good. But now I want
to make a grand total in the subform, something like
Sum([NumberOfMeals]*[MealValue]), only I can't get that to work. Can
anyone help?

TIA,
Rog

Never mind, I got it. I needed to do the calculations in the query
behind the form instead of on the form itself.
