Sum of hours per person in a report

P: n/a
Hey all,

I created a report that lets me choose the month and I get a broken
down list of employees and their time.

It's broken down like this

Employee Date
ProjectNumber Projectname Client Activity Hours
I would like to sum up the hours for each employee. I tried =Sum(hours)
but It gives me all of the employees. Any help would be greatly
appreciated!

Thanks!

You probably put your control with "Sum(hours)" in the Report Footer.
Instead, create a Group Section by Employee with a Group Footer. Put your
control in that section.

Fred,

I thought it was working, but it isn't. I mean i get the sums but it
repeats after every line of the report. I just want it to be on there
once for each section. For example:

project user time
project user time
project user time
Total
project user time
project user time
project user time
Total

instead it's doing:
project user time
Total
project user time
Total
project user time
Total
Thanks again!
