Limit the value of one list based on values selected in another.....

Hi,

I am boiling my brain on this one and struggling with the plethora of
responses on this topic. For some reason I can't access the Samples dbs
through my Work pc, so I have no help there. Was hoping one of you can
put me out of my misery!

Right now I have 2 tables.

1) Taskforces - Taskforce ID (Auto number & PKey), Taskforce (Text)
2) Taskforce Second Tier - Taskforce second level ID (Auto number &
PKey), Taskforce ID (Number linked to above), Second Tier Option.

Each Taskforce has at least one second tier option related to them.

One selected result from each table needs to sit within a main table
for an organization and I want to use combo boxes to feed this info
from a main form.

I want the user to select the first option in the first combo box on
Taskforce and then only be presented with the second tier options that
match.

I don't think this is hard, but have tried to create queries with SQL
to no benefit. I am having issue converting others examples to mine so
was hoping this might make my life easier.

Cheers all in advance,

Tom

Take a look at the article on limiting lists at
http://www.mvps.org/access/forms/frm0028.htm. It should give you a start on
what you want to do. There's an example also in the Developer Solutions
sample database from Microsoft... information and link can be found at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/248674/en-us.
