Table maintenance

P: n/a
I'm using Access 2000.
I have a form called frmEnterScores. It contains several combo boxes from
which I get information about this particular score sheet, (competitor
number, match number, type of event, event date, etc, etc.) and I also the
score for the event.

For the purpose of this question let's assume I have these values saved as
Var1, Var2, Var3, etc, etc.

I also have a table called tblScores and it has fields for competitor
number, match number and each of the data items I want to keep track of.

The combination of competitor number and match number are unique, i.e. no
duplicates.

How do I save the data in the form (Var1, Var2, Var3, etc, etc) into a new
record or overwrite the existing matching record.

Many thanks
