Report - Openened twice

Hello!

I have a slight problem with a report.

I have a report which is made from a query (User enters in PersonId) Then it comes up with a payslip. I want a msgbox to appear if the user opens the same persons report twice. Say person id = 1, payslip comes up. Then I want the user to know that they have already viewed(payed) this report.

Is this possible? If so any help is much appreciated! Thank you in advance :)

Can you post a reply to this thread on Wednesday/Thursday to bump it up the list. It may not get much attention over Christmas.

Happy Holidays.

You need to do an update to the record for the system to know when an ID has already been used (for the month/period).
A field would need to be added to the record to 'remember' this. A date field of some form would be best to allow it to work for subsequent periods.
When an ID print is requested there should be code that says :
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Pseudo-code
  2. Update new date field with todays (or this period's) date.
  3. Run report (Generally better to do an actual print rather than a print-preview).
