Problem Opening Forms

Hey,

I am having a problem with opening some forms. I have several forms. The forms are based off the same table, tblClient. Each form has a sbf inserted into it. These sbf’s are each based off its own query. These queries are all based off the same table tblAnswers. The queries limit the questions for each form. So for example form 1 has questions 101-125; form 2 has questions 126-150. tblAnswers is created from an append query, which appends a clientId and questions to the tblAnswers (answers are appended as default value $0.00). On the forms, people answer the questions with the correct answer amount. (ex: question 101: answer $17.00).

Each form by itself works fine. There are no problems with entry or anything else when only a single form is opened. However, when a second form is opened, it does not display the information from the sbf on the newly opened form. Since I am trying to create forms with “continue” buttons this is a problem.

Warning Message: You tried to lock table “while opening it, but the table cannot be locked because it is currently in use. Wait a moment, then try the operation again.

Waiting doesn’t do anything.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I tried inserting code to close the current form and then open the new one. And while it does close the current form and open the new 1, it still doesn’t display the information on the new form.
