How To Set Name Autocorrect Unchecked by Default

Hey, do you guys know how to set the Name Autocorrect to unchecked by
default. Name Autocorrect is more trouble than its worth. I know I
can go to Tools/General, but, I'd rather have it unchecked by default
when I create a blank database.

Hey, do you guys know how to set the Name Autocorrect to unchecked by
default.
One cannot change the default for new databases, but a few simple alternatives
are available. I use a template database with the settings, libraries, form
template and report template I need. I make a copy of the file, then develop
the new database application from this copy.

Another alternative is to set the option via VBA code as soon as the new
database is created. For example code, please see the link to the tip, "How to
set database options using VBA while creating a new database," in the VBA
section of the following Web page:
