Create an .mde

Hi,

How to create in access similar to .exe in VB.
Is .mde files same as .exe, if so pls assist on how to create one.

There is no (standard) way to create a .Exe from an Access database.
A .Mde file is created by openning the .Mdb file in Access and selecting Tools / Database Utilities / Make MDE File.

One caveat, Ruth. Always make a backup copy of your db before converting it to an .mde file! If you have to make changes you'll need this! Also, there are some others factors to consider when going this route. This link goes over them quite well:
