Record is too large

P: n/a
Hi all,

I'm currently running a DB in Access 97 that's used to store project
data. This is the first time this has happened but when I enter data
into one of the fields, it states that the record is too large. If I
delete some (not all) of the characters then the record seems to save
fine.

Can anyone help me on this matter?

All the best, Dean...

I aslo seem to be able to add data into the other fields with no
problem but only this specific field is kicking back an error message.

Dean,
Maybe you need to make the field size bigger ?
Is it a text field ?
How big is it 50 chars?
