connected comboboxes

I have a form with two comboboxes: one for manufacturers and one for
product types. These after updating populate the results of the queries
envolved to a subform. Works great. I choose "IBM" from one combo and
"Servers" from the other and I see all IBM servers.

Here's my dilemma, the users want to choose say "IBM" from the one
combo and have the other combo only display "IBM" prodcut categories
(i.e. IBM should not be displaying something like "Barcode Scanners" in
the second combo)...

BTW both combos pull from two simple tables: manufacturers and product
types...

Any clues on this one? Thanks to anyone! Dav

Hi,

I asked a similar question a while ago and someone helped by responding
with a good example. They used a city/state example where the user
selects a state in one combo box and only that states cities are
displayed in the second combobox. Rather than give an example myself I
think its only fair to let the orignal poster have the credit, so
search the past posts for my username and you should come accross the
original reply :0)
