How to convert Access to Mobile 5.0

I have been put in charge of transforming a DB that was created to track my companies AV equipment to work on a Handheld PC. I have found DATA on the RUN to be the easiest interface to work with. My questions is (since I am new to this) if anyone knows of a way to convert the entire DB including tables, quires, and forms to a handheld without recreating the quires and forms on the handheld? I have seen a lot of posting on other sites about using SQL, but you still have to recreate all of the quires and forms on the handheld in Data on the Run. I have tried to convince them to buy a new program that has handheld support, but (as I am sure you all have experienced) they do not want to spend the money on the new program. I am not an Access pro, but do know enough to get myself in trouble so please be kind.
Thank you.

I can be kind but unfortunately, not very helpful, as I only know the Access side of this question.
I expect others will be in a similar situation.
Good luck, but don't be too disappointed if no-one here can help you.
