DateTime picker (again!)

Has anyone found a (convenient) way around the inability to change .Value of a dtpicker while .Visible is False?

I can work around it, probably by creating Public Sub SetValue(ctl As Control, ByVal NewValue As Date) but would prefer less of a kludge.

Have you tried making the change without .Value. Just

Me.txtBoxName = newDate

Nope. I'll give it a try, but I'll be quite surprised if it works. All that's doing is using the default property, which in the case of a datetime picker, is presumably Value.

Thanks for the suggestion, anyway. Will let you know what happens.
