Access 2007 - IsHyperlink property

P: n/a
I have the IsHyperlink property set to Yes for at least one control
(textbox) in every form within my application. Example: a search
screen displays the results in a grid in which one of the fields is a
hyperlink which, when clicked, displays another form that contains
additional detail. To do this I run come code behind the textbox's
onclick event (The IsHyperlink takes care of the formatting and mouse
cursor for me). The problem in Access 2007 is that it takes forever
(an unacceptable amount of time) for the new form to open. I ran some
tests to ensure it was the hyperlink property and not something else
causing the problem.

Any ideas?
